✨Inviting you to our Polymer Clay Matinée! Event run by Universe, from Universal Friends! Event is in collaboration with MR Art Center in Marupe.
🏳️⚧️This is a trans-led event meant mainly for trans+ folk, but is absolutely open to allies of trans+ folk as well. Bring along a friend!
🎨Polymer clay! A lovely material you can work with and fire even with a home oven! Polymer clay is easy to shape, has bright colors, can be painted with accessible paints, you can even use it to decorate everyday ovensafe objects to make them more yours! Doing art with your hands is a great way to help with your emotions and thoughts, and is a lovely way to make gifts for the people you care about.
📅When: 26th October, 3-6PM
📍Where: MR Art Center, Marupe, Lambertu iela 26 (accessible by #7 and #55 bus)
💶Price: 15 Euro per person.
🗣️Event will be in English/Latvian
Buying your first packs of polymer clay can be a bit pricey, so trying out all the different colors we have, with all our tools can let you know if you want to try it more at home. We'll also give advice on where to get the best prices!
📿Everyone who attends can make either a keychain or some earrings, plus either decorate a plate or make your own figurines!
Receive your fired works on the same day and get to finish them yourself, attaching earring/keychain parts! You can paint them at home if you wish. Help and advice will be given, too.
⏳Works will be fired during the event, which will take approximately 45 minutes, during which we will have a tea and snack break. Bring a meal with you if you need one!
Because all the works get fired on the same day, everyone will have to finish shaping around the same time. Once the pieces are fired you can freely finish and paint them, with no time limit.

🏳️⚧️Šis ir trans vadīts pasākums paredzēts lielākoties trans+ personām, bet sabiedrotie tiek droši sagaidīti. Ņemat līdzi draugus!
🎨Polimērmāls ir jauks materiāls ar kuru var strādāt un apdedzināt ar krāsni pat mājas apstākļos! Polimērmālu var viegli veidot, tam ir košas krāsas, un to var viegli krāsot. Ar to var arī dekorēt ikdienas priekšmetus, ja tie ir krāsnsdroši! Veidot mākslu ar rokām ir izcils veids kā regulēt emocijas un apstrādāt domas, un var veidot jaukas dāvanas sev tuvajiem.

Saņemiet apdedzinātos darbus tajā pašā dienā un pabeidziet tos paši, pievienojot auskaru/piekariņu detaļas! Mājas var arī apgleznot. Dosim padomus un palīdzību arī.
⏳Darbi tiks apdedzināti pasākuma laikā un tas aizņems apmēram 45 minūtes. Tajā laikā būs tēja un uzkodas. Ja gribat lielāku maltīti, ņemat sev līdzi!
Visus darbus apdedzinās vienlaikus tajā pašā dienā, tātad visiem būs jāpabeidz veidošana ap to pašu laiku. Pēc apdedzināšanas varēs brīvi darbus pabeigt bez laika ierobežojuma.
