Through a gentle guided visualization and creative process, we will venture into our subconscious and explore the symbols that arise in our creations. At the end of the workshop, we will reflect together on what these symbols may represent.
🌻 No experience in art or therapy is needed. You are welcome to paint, draw, or write, creative expression comes in all shapes and sizes. As long as you take note of what comes up during the process, you will be able to participate in the final discussion.
This will be an open and safe space to explore freely, without pressure to “perform”. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with, you’re welcome to participate in the way that feels right for you.
☕️ All art supplies for painting and drawing will be provided. If you have your own materials you prefer to use, feel free to bring them. We recommend wearing clothes you wouldn’t feel bad getting paint on or bringing an apron. We will provide with hot beverages, snacks and you can also bring your own to share.
Simona is a certified peer support specialist, DBT and self improvement coach with extensive experience in one on one and group work. They spent the last 6 years working with diverse populations in San Diego, California and now returned to Latvia to persue an EU certification and their bachelors degree in Psychology . They believe in making psycho education accessible for anyone who needs it!
