Stick-er Together | The Collective Act - Local Event

🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️What is the last time you walked on the streets and saw a sticker on a pole that caught your attention or made you smile? And more importantly, what kind of messaging would YOU like to see in public spaces? 

🦋 If you’ve ever wanted to make a sticker or a few on your own instead of only seeing them around, come join us in this sticker workshop.

🌺We will brainstorm, create designs, play around with slogans, wordplay, and visual ideas. We’ll ask - what feels relevant, needed, sharp, funny, loud, or affirming? Let’s make it stick! 

🪴This is the first part of a two-stage event. During this workshop, we’ll collectively come up with and design the stickers. You’ll leave the designs with us to turn into actual printed stickers until 20.06, when we’ll gather again. 

✨You will have the opportunity to pick up your stickers and join us for a walk around Riga, where we’ll learn about and take down hate signs found in public spaces.

Whether you want to make protest stickers, artsy or silly ones, or spread some chaotic queer messages - join for good energy and flow of ideas. Let’s queer up the streets together!

✂️ Materials provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own (markers, pens, etc.) No prior experience needed.
