Join us for ReVive: Turning Waste into Art, an inspiring pop-up exhibition where creativity meets sustainability, queer rights, solidarity, change and more!

🕒 The exhibition will be open between 17:00 - 20:30

📍 Kaņepes Kultūras Centrs, Skolas iela 15, Riga.   

We have gathered 30 participants, young queer and allies people from six countries - Greece, Latvia, France, Italy, Germany and Spain, who are currently in Gauja, exploring diverse creative practices on how they can transform everyday discarded materials into powerful art, expressing their creativity, and messages. 

🧵✂️ From plastic and paper to forgotten objects, they are working collaboratively co-creating art pieces which challenge how we see “waste” and invite us to rethink its value. Come explore a space where art is rooted in radical care, imagination drives shared inspiration, and nothing is truly useless! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Practical Information: 

🎟️ Free entrance

🧩 Visitors are welcome to engage at their own pace. 

🧑‍🎨 You can meet and interact with the participants and get inspired by their artwork processes, project experience and more.

🗣️ Language: English and Latvian. 

♿ This event is wheelchair accessible. The exhibition will be featured at the first floor of KKC (ground floor). 

🤝 We maintain a safer space policy - discrimination, harassment, or exclusion of any kind will not be tolerated.
