Gājiens Palestīnai: Genocīda Upuru Piemiņai
GĀJIENS PALESTĪNAI UN GENOCĪDA UPURU PIEMIŅAI!
🕯️ 10. oktobrī, plkst. 18.00 Rīgā notiks ikgadējais gājiens Gazas genocīda upuru piemiņai.
📍Pulcēsimies Vērmanes dārzā pie skatuves, dosimies gājienā ar saukļiem un, atgriežoties Vērmanes dārzā, ieturēsim klusuma mirkli, klausīsimies uzrunas un iedegsim svecītes, lai pieminētu civiliedzīvotāju upurus.
ŅEM LĪDZI SVECĪTI 🕯️
Oficiāli tiek lēsts par vismaz 73 000 nogalinātajiem Gazā, bet liela daļa šajā statistikā neiekļauto joprojām atrodas zem drupām. Par spīti starptautiskās sabiedrības spiedienam, Izraēla turpina genocīdu un kara noziegumus ne tikai Gazā, bet arī Rietumkrastā, paplašinot nelegālās kolonistu apmetnes, un īstenojot okupācijas plānus arī plašākā reģionā.
Šis gājiens ir mūsu iespēja paust solidaritāti ar palestīniešiem, kuriem cilvēktiesības tiek liegtas jau kopš 1948. gada, kad notika pirmā lielā etniskā tīrīšana jeb Nakba. Aicinām piemiņas vakaram pievienoties ikvienu, kuru satriec bērnu slepkavošana, kuram rūp cilvēka cieņa un tiesības uz dzīvību, kuri vēlas iestāties pret vardarbību, ciešanām un genocīdu, un par starptautisko tiesību ievērošanu. Tas ir signāls Latvijas valdībai, kas, tā vietā, lai sekotu pieaugošam skaitam ES valstu rīcībai ieviest sankcijas pret nelegālajām Izraēlas kolonistu apmetnēm okupētajā Rietumkrastā, padziļina valsts diplomātiskās un ekonomiskās attiecības ar Izraēlu.
Šajā pasākumā nav vietas antisemītismam, rasismam, islamofobijai, naidam un agresijai. Lūdzam nenest Valsts policijas aizliegtos plakātus un simbolus- tos vari atrast postā “Par brīvu Palestīnu un vārda brīvība Latvijā”. Aicinām nereaģēt uz provokatoriem, un provokācijas gadījumā ir jāvēršas pie pasākuma kārtības uzturētājiem vai policijas!

MARCH FOR PALESTINE: IN MEMORY OF THE VICTIMS OF GENOCIDE
🕯️ On October 10, at 6:00 PM in Riga we will gather for the annual march to commemorate the victims of the genocide in Gaza.
📍 We will gather in Vērmanes park by the stage to march along Riga’s streets and return to Vērmanes park where wil hold a moment of silence, listen to the speeches and finish with a candle vigil for the victims.
Officially, it is estimated that at least 73,000 people were killed, but a large number of those not included in this statistic are still under the rubble of their homes. Despite the international pressur, Israel continues to commit genocide and war crimes not only in Gaza but also in West Bank, and to accelerate the illegal settlements and to expand the greater occupation plans in the whole region.
This march is our opportunity to express solidarity with the Palestinians, who have been denied their human rights since 1948, when the first major ethnic cleansing in Palestine, known as Nakba, took place. We invite anyone who is shocked by the murder of children, who cares about human dignity and the right to life, who wants to stand up against violence, suffering and genocide to join us in this commemoration evening. It is a signal to the government of Latvia, who instead of following the decisions of an increasing number of EU countries to impose sanctions on the illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, continues to deepens its diplomatic and economic relations with Israel.
There is no place for antisemitism, racism, Islamophobia, hatred and aggression at this event. Please do not bring posters and symbols prohibited by the State Police. For all of our safety- do not engage with any provocateurs and in case of witnessing any provocations- turn to the safety stewards or to the police!
