Svētdien, 25. oktobrī, plkst. 16:00 aicinām uz prezentāciju un diskusiju par mākslīgo intelektu (MI).

MI ir nonācis uzmanības centrā, taču daudziem cilvēkiem šī tehnoloģija dažādu iemeslu dēļ nepatīk. Apspriedīsim, kāpēc cilvēki ienīst MI un vai šis naids ir pamatots.

Uz šiem un citiem jautājumiem atbildēsim 25 minūšu garā prezentācijā par MI, tehnoloģijām un to lomu sabiedrībā.

Pēc prezentācijas notiks atklāta diskusija par tēmu: Ko mums darīt?

Prezentācija un diskusija notiks angliski.

В воскресенье, 25 октября, в 16:00 мы приглашаем вас на презентацию и дискуссию об искуственном интеллекте (ИИ).

ИИ стал центром внимания, но у многих людей эта технология вызывает неприязнь по разным причинам. Мы обсудим, почему люди ненавидят ИИ и оправдана ли эта ненависть.

Эти и другие вопросы затронем в презентации продолжительностью более 25 минут, посвящённой ИИ, технологиям и их роли в обществе.

После презентации состоится открытая дискуссия на тему: что нам делать?

Презентация и дискуссия будут на английском языке.

On Sunday, October 25, at 4:00 PM, we invite you to a presentation and discussion about artificial intelligence (AI).

AI has taken center stage, yet the technology sparks aversion in many people for various reasons. We will discuss why people hate AI and whether that hatred is justified.

We will address these and other questions in a presentation—lasting over 25 minutes—focused on AI, technology, and their role in society.

Following the presentation, there will be an open discussion on the topic: what should we do?

The presentation and discussion will be held in English.
