Paintings by evacuated Palesti nian children, created at the Meera Children's Center in Cairo, Egypt, a center visited by around 250 children daily, many evacuated after the bomb ing of Gaza, many of whom have lost family members or experienced life-cha nging injuries.

We invited two of Riga's most active social movements to share their perspectives an d open a bridge between different points of view.

Maiznīca is a non- commercial community center and intersectional activist collective in Riga , organizing discussions, film nights, creative workshops, protests, and events in support of feminist, queer, and migrant communities, building ev er-widening solidarity with people who care.

Par Brīvu Palestīnu is an activist movement in Riga standing against the genocide of the Palestin ian people committed by Israel, the occupation of their territories, and L atvia's complicity in these war crimes, organizing protests, educational e vents, and film screenings to pressure the Latvian government to comply wi th international law.

This gathering is open to everyone. We ask onl y one thing: respect for each other, for different opinions, and for the s tories and experiences that will be shared in this room.
